Dear Colleagues,
In 2021, the Eleventh International Equine Infectious Disease Conference (IEIDCXI) was held as a wholly on-line event from the 27th September to 1st October 2021.The event consisted of pre-recorded videos of plenary sessions and oral and poster scientific presentations, together with a Practitioners’ Day. Discussions were recorded live.
Using this format enabled us, as an equine infectious disease research community to come together to present our latest research findings and catch up with what other researchers in our field were doing. Thus momentum and communication was maintained, despite the difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The on-line IEIDCXI 2021 link will remain active and accessible to registered delegates until 30th September 2022. If you haven’t already registered for the conference, it is not too late to do so. Registering will give you access to all presentations, and recordings of discussions and Q&A sessions. Furthermore, our virtual meeting platform offers great opportunities for online discussion and interaction with speakers and other attendees. Last but certainly not least, you can visit our fabulous sponsors in their virtual booths on the platform.
I encourage you to take this opportunity to learn about the latest scientific research and its clinical application. The next conference IEIDCXII will be held in-person, in Deauville, France in 2024, with information posted on this website. We hope to see your there!
Regards,
James
